Description:
 The LM2596 HV DC-DC Buck Converter with voltage rating 4.5-40V to 3-35V. is a step down power module that can be  adjustable using a potentiometer that is mounted on the board. Adjustment method is to first input power (between 4.5-50V) then a multimeter to monitor the output voltage and adjust potentiometer (usually boost turn clockwise and buck turn counterclockwise).
The terminal marked  IN+input is where the  positive is mounted and the terminal marked  IN- input is where the negative terminal is mounted.
The terminal marked OUT+ is where the output positive terminal is mounted and the terminal marked OUT-  is where the output negative terminal is mounted.
It has a off load power consumption of about 6mA.
