BAiC  M-100 Car Doorbell System is  a wireless system used to notify your gate keeper or people at home your arrival at the gate, without hooting a car horn. It could also let you inform people at your home when you’re still a bit far from your residence, so that by the time you arrive, someone is already at the gate. This would improve your security as you wouldn’t need to get out of your vehicle to open the gate, nor would you need to hoot the car horn. Car horn hooting not only does it disrupts your neighbors’ peace, but also could alert the could-be bad people that you’re back.
 
The BAiC M-100 Car doorbell System consists of mainly two parts;
the Car doorbell panel and Car doorbell Remote. The two parts are installed separately, the Car doorbell panel is installed inside the house whereas the Cardoorbell remote is installed inside a vehicle.
 
M-100 Car Doorbell Remote
The Car doorbell remote has a push button, an indicator
light, beeper and power input jack connector.  
The Push button on the Car doorbell Remote is used to send a notification to the Car doorbell panel when pressed.
Indicator Light - it lights in two colours; Green and Red. Red light indicates that the sent notification or Commandhas not yet been received by the Car doorbell Panel. If the Green light blinks, it tells the user that the notification has been received by the Car doorbell Panel and the doorbell is ringing. The indicator light will become solid Green if a person at home presses a buttonon the Car doorbell panel, in other words, if someone at home answers the doorbell.
A Beeper will give a long beep of about three seconds if no one answers the doorbell or if the car doorbell panel is off due to, probably a power outage. It will beep twice for a duration of about a second, for each beep, if someone at home answers the doorbell. At the same timethe Green light will go solid for about two seconds and then off.
 
M-100 Car doorbell Panel
The Car doorbell Panel is the part of the system that is
installed inside the house. It has a doorbell attached. The
panel has a push button, power indicator light and a
signal indicator light. The power indicator light is Red and the signal indicator light is Blue.
 
The power indicator light simply shows to the user that
the system is powered, and the signal indicator light
blinks at different intervals to communicate different
conditions. The push button is pressed either to answer
the doorbell or to change the operating mode of the
system. The doorbell rings when the panel receives a
message from the Car doorbell remote, and at the same
time the blue indicator blinks at an interval of about half
a second. The other part not mentioned yet is the antenna -
it facilitates wireless communication between the two
parts of the system.
 
Changing the operation Modes
The system can operate in two modes; the Normal mode
and the Do not Disturb mode.
In the Normal mode, the doorbell rings when the car
doorbell panel receives a command from a car doorbell
remote, whereas in the Do not Disturb mode the doorbell
doesn't ring. The default mode is the Normal mode.

Changing to Do not Disturb mode:
To change to the Do not Disturb mode, press the Car
doorbell Panel button for more than five seconds until the
blue indicator starts blinking at the interval of three
seconds.
To change out of the Do not Disturb mode, press the Car
doorbell Panel button for more than five seconds until the
blue indicator stops blinking.
