Sensor expansion board Sensor Shield V5.0 for Arduino.
The Arduino Sensor Shield V5.0 is an expansion board for the Arduino Uno and Mega 2560 that simplifies connecting sensors, servos, and modules by breaking out all digital and analog pins into standard 3-pin (Signal, VCC, GND) headers.
Key Features and Specifications• 3-Pin Headers (G-V-S): Every digital (D0–D13) and analog (A0–A5) pin includes a dedicated Ground, VCC, and Signal pin to eliminate messy breadboard wiring.
• Power Selection Jumper (SEL): Allows the VCC rail for digital pins (D0–D13) to switch between the Arduino's internal 5V or an external power supply (useful for high-draw devices like servo motors). Analog VCC pins remain hardwired to 5V.
• Communication Interfaces: Built-in dedicated headers for I2C, UART (Serial), SPI, SD card module, and APC220 RF devices.
• Display and Sensor Ports: Includes pinouts for parallel/serial LCD screens and ultrasonic sensors (e.g., URF01+).
• Board Extras: Features an onboard reset button, a Pin-13 "L" LED repeater, and a power indicator LED.
This Sensor Shield V5.0 still uses the laminated design and PCB immersion gold processing on the basis of retaining the advantages of the V4.0 version. The motherboard not only connects all the digital and analog interfaces of the Duemilanove 2009 controller to expand in servo cable sequence, and IIC interface, 32-channel servo controller interface, Bluetooth communication interface, SD card module communication interface, APC220 wireless radio frequency module communication interface, RB URF v1.1 ultrasonic sensor interface,12864 LCD serial and parallel interface. It's easier to use for independent expansion. For Arduino beginners, you don't need to worry about the wiring of cumbersome and complicated circuits. This sensor expansion board really simplifies the circuit and can easily connect commonly used sensors. The sensor only requires a universal 3P Sensor connection cable (no distinction digital connection cable or analog connection cable). After completing the circuit connection, write the corresponding Arduino program and download into the Duemilanove controller to read the sensor data, or receive the wireless module return data. After the arithmetic processing, you can finish your interactive work.
