Description
The 74HC04 is a useful inverter logic IC of the 74HC family consisting of 6 (hex) NOT gates (inverters). It consumes very little power and works in a wide voltage range. It is simple to use and helps to interface different logic ICs operating in different modes (eg. active low vs. active high).
The six inverters are independent of each other and they each perform the Boolean function Y = A.
