How the Modes Work
The STC-3028 operates by comparing your Start Value to your Stop Value. You have distinct relays for temperature and humidity:
Cooling Mode: (Start > Stop) — Turns the cooler on when the temperature goes above the Start value, and off when it drops to the Stop value.
Heating Mode: (Start < Stop) — Turns the heater on when temperature falls below the Start value, and off when it reaches the Stop value.
Dehumidification Mode: (Start > Stop) — Triggers a dehumidifier or fan when humidity exceeds the Start point.
Humidification Mode: (Start < Stop) — Triggers a humidifier or fogger when humidity drops below the Start point
 
Programming Guide
The controller features four directional arrows to adjust your settings:
Set Temperature: Press and hold the up/down arrows for the first screen.
Set Humidity: Press and hold the up/down arrows for the second screen.
Calibration: If your sensor reads inaccurately, simultaneously press and hold both temperature arrows (or humidity arrows) to adjust the offset (e.g., to adjust by ± 10° C).
